BMW M3 GTS by G-Power announced with 635hp

German tuner adds its own G-POWER SK II 'Sporty Drive' supercharger kit and an all-titanium exhaust system

German tuner G-Power has finally unveiled details on its version of the BMW M3 GTS.

G-Power has fitted its own specially developed supercharger system to the 4.4 liter V8 that adds more than a third more power to the M3 GTS. The G-POWER SK II "Sporty Drive" supercharger kit uses ASA superchargers that help bring total output to 635 PS (467 kW / 626 bhp) and 630 Nm (465 lb-ft) of torque - up from the series 450 PS (331 kW / 444 bhp) and 440 Nm (325 lb-ft).

The performance also gets a boost from the in-house all-titanium exhaust system and a new ECU software setup that makes for the impressive numbers which follow.

The 0 to 100 km/h sprint takes just 4.2 seconds while the car makes it to 200 km/h (124 mph) in 11.9 seconds. Top speed is 323 km/h (200.7 mph).

G-Power leaves the suspension and body kit from the standard M3 GTS intact, believing it was just a lack horsepower that was holding the racer back.

The G-POWER SK II "Sporty Drive" supercharger system costs €23,500, not including taxes or installation.

Entry-level Jaguar delayed

Could debut in 2016 or 2017

Jaguar has announced plans to delay their entry-level model until the redesigned XF is launched in 2015.

Although a tad disappointing, the company's Global Brand Director, Adrian Hallmark, was afraid the car would have stolen sales from the current XF because they are both roughly the same size. To prevent the product over lap, the X-Type successor won't be available until an enlarged XF hits the market.

Thanks to the delay, Jaguar will have more time to refine the entry-level model which will hopefully pay big dividends when the car is launched in 2016 or 2017.

Lagonda lineup to include 2 or 3 models - report

The British Mercedes

New details are starting to emerge about the revival of the Lagonda brand.

Speaking with Car Magazine, Aston Martin CEO Ulrich Bez revealed Lagonda will be launched with two or three models. Without getting into details, one of the models will reportedly be a crossover that is based on the 2012 Mercedes M-Class.

More interestingly, there's also word of an estate/crossover that is similar in philosophy to Audi's Allroads. Details are limited, but the model is rumored to have a reduced ride height and 21-inch alloy wheels.

Lastly, there are plans for an ultra-luxury sedan. Nothing is official, but previous reports have indicated the car could be based on the 2013 Mercedes S-Class. The magazine says the model is "increasingly iffy" but would feature advanced packaging and a sophisticated drivetrain.

Beefier KTM X-BOW R launched

Priced from €58,795

To fend off new competitors, like the BAC Mono, KTM has officially unveiled the X-Bow R.

Described as a "further development" of the original model, the R features an Audi-sourced 2.0-liter TFSI petrol engine that has been equipped with a larger turbocharger, high performance fuel injectors and a new ECU. Thanks to these modifications, the four-cylinder produces 300 PS (220 kW / 295 hp) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque compared to the standard X-Bow with 240 PS (177 kW / 237 hp).

To handle the extra power, engineers installed a new torque arm that is directly connected to the carbon monocoque chassis. This enables the X-Bow to have "significantly" improved torsional rigidity and better handling. Additionally, the car's center of gravity has been lowered by 15mm and the suspension has been upgraded with stiffer springs and dampers.

If this sounds like your cup of tea, prepare to shell out €58,795 (excluding taxes and import duties).
