2013 Mercedes S63 AMG spied for the first time

One fast flagship

Our spy photographers have snapped the first pictures of the 2013 Mercedes S63 AMG.

Caught undergoing testing near the Nürburgring, the heavily camouflaged prototype is distinguished by a larger air intake, a high performance braking system and AMG wheels.

Additional information is limited, but the car will likely be powered by a twin-turbo 5.5-liter V8 with 518 hp (386 kW / 525 PS) and 516 lb-ft (699 Nm) of torque. It should be connected to a seven-speed Speedshift MCT transmission, which will ensure this is one fast flagship.
