Designer duo DSQUARED² thinks of a robust Life Ball MINI 2011

After the 2009 MINI Life Ball by The Blonds and the Life Ball MINIs 2010 by celebrity fashion designers Diane von Furstenberg, Kenneth Cole and Calvin Klein Collection’s Francisco Costa, we now have the Life Ball MINI 2011. Designed by Dean and Dan Caten (aka the Canadian designer duo DSQUARED²), the Life Ball MINI 2011 is a MINI Cooper S that has been refashioned to be armed for adventures of all kinds.

The noteworthy features include the front guard, rally headlamps, tinted side windows with grilles and the spare tire on the tailgate. Moreover, the raised chassis and deep-tread all-terrain tires make it armed for adventurous trips.
Inside, you have a compass to guide you on the roads. The floor mats made of structured aluminum sheeting offer protection from dirt. The trademark DSQUARED² maple leaf on the leather head restraints and the side doors round off the cabin of this robust MINI. Gery Keszler, the founder and organizer of the Life Ball, said…

MINI has been a partner of the Life Ball for 11 years and each year it demonstrates anew its creativity, enthusiasm and passion for this good cause. This year’s Life Ball MINI designed by DSQUARED² provides further persuasive evidence of this.

Since 1993, renowned personalities and artists have lent their voices and support to Life Ball, Europe’s most spectacular annual charity event dedicated to raising support for the worldwide fight against HIV and AIDS. The 19th Life Ball was held in Vienna on May 21.
