Ferrari opens first dealership in India in New Delhi
Ferrari has officially opened its doors in India.
Entry into the Indian market marks the 58th country in which Ferrari has dealer representation around the world.
Ferrari CEO Amedeo Felisa was on hand at the opening ceremony at the New Delhi dealership, which will be run by official Ferrari importer Shreyans Group, headed by Ashish Chordia, who was also present.
The dealership has over 500 square meters of floor space on two levels dedicated to selling Ferraris.
Said Felisa at the opening:
"Here in India you feel great enthusiasm and a strong connection to the Ferrari brand, which, even before officially entering India, had already around 50 clients in the country."
What was that? Only 50 Ferrari clients in all of India, a market of over 1 billion people. We know Ferrari is an exclusive brand and India isn't the richest country but it's a dynamic emerging market.
That dealership better get to work.
