Video provides a glimpse of what the new F10 M5 can do on a track
Here is the first video available featuring the new 2012 BMW F10 M5 undisguised and unhinged on a track.
Shot somewhere in one of Europe's warmer climates, the M5 here shows what it can do. A few shots from inside the cabin give you a sense of speed of how the powerful sedan can munch through those curves on the circuit.
The 2012 BMW F10 M5 comes with a 4.4 liter twin-turbo V8 that produces 560 PS (412 kW / 552 hp) and 680 Nm (502 lb-ft) of torque. Transmission is a seven-speed M Double Clutch gearbox. The new M5 accelerates from 0-100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.4 seconds, reaches 200 km/h (124 mph) in 13.0 seconds and has an electronically-limited top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph) which can be bumped up to 305 km/h (190 mph) with the M Driver's Package.
