Range Rover Evoque XL under consideration - report

Larger and more accommodating

We've already heard rumors that Land Rover was considering a fourth Range Rover model, but a new report is indicating the company is about to decide whether or not to put the vehicle into production.

Details are limited, but the crossover would likely be an extended-length Evoque that is up to 300mm (11.8 inches) longer and 100mm (3.9 inches) taller than the standard model. This would enable the vehicle to have a spacious cabin and possibly seating for seven.

Engine options would carryover from the standard Evoque, so expect a turbocharged 2.0-liter petrol with 240 PS (177 kW / 237 hp) as well as a 2.2-liter turbodiesel with 150 PS (110 kW / 148 hp) and 190 PS (140 kW / 187 hp).
