Video: Theme park staff replace boss’ car with Lego model

Watch teambuilding take on a new dimension at Legoland California.

Want to prank your boss? Have a zillion hours of free time? And a zillion lego bricks? Staff at Legoland California did...

When the park's General Manager, Peter Rochetti, went off to get some lunch, staff swiped the keys to his Volvo XC60, drove it out of his usual parking spot and hid it round the corner. When he got back he found a life-sized replica(ish) made completely out of Lego bricks.

Staff transported the 2,934lb toy version - a Lego XC90 built in 2004 and ordinarily displayed at the park's entrance - via forklift truck to Rochetti's spot.

Watch his reaction below.

Legoland model shop supervisor, Tim Petsche, orchestrated the plan after he noticed that the 201,760-piece Lego Volvo, which was being refurbished, bore a close resemblance to Rochetti's car.
