AC Schnitzer Eagle - Der schnellste MINI kommt aus Aachen
German tuner claims the Eagle is the fastest MINI around
German tuner AC Schnitzer claims to have built the fastest MINI around.
The AC Schnitzer Eagle is based on the MINI John Cooper Works (R56) and boasts a lap time on the Hockenheim Circuit of 1:13.341 minutes - a time which beats models such as the BMW M3, Ferrari California, Mercedes-Benz CLK 63 AMG Black Series and the Porsche 911 Turbo and Carrera S models.
The Eagle comes with output dialed up to 260 PS (191 kW / 256 bhp) on the 1.6 liter turbo. A new exhaust system was fitted and curb weight was reduced by 80 kg (176 lbs). The tuner also added a height-adjustable racing suspension and its own 18-inch alloy wheels.
The tuner calls this AC Schnitzer Eagle a concept vehicle and places its value at €62,000 but, apparently, it is not for sale.
