Audi A1 1.6 TDI becomes more efficient for UK market

Audi has unveiled a revised A1 1.6 TDI that skirts the UK's congestion charge and road tax.

Boasting an optimized ECU and fuel system, the model has CO2 emissions of 99 g/km (down from 105 g/km) and a combined fuel economy rating of 74.3 mpg (up from 70.6 mpg). Additionally, the engine produces 105 PS (77 kW / 104 hp) and 250 Nm (184 lb-ft) of torque which enables the car to accelerate from 0-62 mph in 10.5 seconds and hit a top speed of 118 mph (190 km/h).
