James May and the Aventador: more pics

In this month's Top Gear magazine, you will find lots of pleasant things to peruse. There is the new BMW 1-Series M Coupe, an argument between a GT-R and VXR8 and even a driving lesson with Jean Alesi. You may have heard of him.
You may also have heard of a chap called James May. He decided to take a triumvirate of Lamborghini Aventadors across 100 miles of Italian road in order to ascertain whether Sant'Agata's newest progeny was mad enough.
Keeping him company was the colour orange, some scissor doors, lots of carbon-fibre, F1-style suspension and 6.5-litres of V12 goodness. Keeping him happy was 690bhp, many, many torques (509lb ft) and the ability to hit 62mph in just 2.9 seconds.
You can read the full verdict in the June issue of Top Gear magazine, out now. Click through for a quick look behind the scenes of the epic shoot...
