Top speed of approximatively 240 km/h (149 mph)
Following its unveiling at Wörthersee 2011 along with the Golf R Cabriolet, Volkswagen has released new information about the Golf GTI Cabriolet concept.
Dressed in Firespark metallic paint, the car features an aggressive GTI body kit, a lowered suspension and front/rear spoilers. Other highlights include gloss black accents, red brake calipers and 19-inch alloy wheels.
To spruce up the cabin, designers added Nappa leather upholstery, two-tone seat belts, and aluminum door sill plates.
Power comes from a 2.0-liter TSI engine that develops 210 PS (155 kW / 208 hp) and 280 Nm (206 lb-ft) of torque. It enables the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in approximately seven seconds, before hitting a top speed of roughly 240 km/h (149 mph).
